This is how Carl and I feel after 3 days of couch laying. Actually, me on the couch, and Carl being very nice and getting me pain medication every 3-4 hours and encouraging me to drink plenty of water. I had a minor kidney surgery which I was positive i would recover from in a matter of hours, until I got home and realized that was trickery on behalf of I'm not sure whom. Nonetheless, I'm grateful that my kidney can now realize it's full potential. Carl is sad because he had to get a slew of expensive vaccinations. We are delighted with the lovely visitors we've had thus far and should you need company this weekend, we promise to perk up and be way fun. Also, does anyone know about felting? I really want to felt some little birds.

My friend, Heather, knows how to felt! She was felting something the other day and it looked really cool. This is the same girl that makes the soaps. One of these days you should just meet her. I think you'll really like her. She also sells vintage clothing on ebay. So, she has some super cute dresses always laying around.

In the meantime, I hope that you're feeling better. When I had my gall bladder out, I was positive that I would have NO problem driving myself home from the hospital. Haha, yeah right, I could hardly keep my eyes looking in the same direction. You are really lucky to have Carl there to help out. I'm sure you know that. When you're alone, the distance to the bedside table where the cup of water and stash of pills dwell can feel like a mile away when you feel the way you do.

It'll all be over soon and then you can look back on it as a learning experience.
