Today at church I realized that I was out of touch when the little boy next to me asked me to draw him a picture of Ironman. I have no idea what said ironman looks like or what he does. Should I know? Luckily I appeased him with a ninja turtle and a version of batman that looked vaguely like a Mr. Underpants. Speaking of painting strange things, I've spent most of the weekend getting ready to put up my show at Leland's letterpress studio in downtown Provo (I promise that introductory story was not a way to ease into this information, it just happened). I will have more official news about the show and the opening in the next couple of days. Our living room has temporarily been turned into a studio, and I love it, and Carl has been rather supportive of our entire living space being taken over by me, again, it just happens. Also, anyone heard the mix with Bjork and Ratatat? I love listening to her while I paint because it makes anything that I might think of doing totally unweird and logical.

i had fun hanging out at your house on friday. i hope you and carl will come to my home soon so i can prepare a mediocre meal for you guys (not intentionally mediocre, of course, but that's all i'm capable of at this time!).
