Make a friend giveaway!

A giveaway is happening right here and now on this blog. I'm actually a little embarrassed, I can't quite pinpoint why, but here goes anyway. There is however, a small contract attached to this giveaway. It isn't hard, but I feel serious about the terms, so if you are not up to it, don't sign up.
This giveaway is for two prints from my shop. Both prints however, are not for you. One is. The other one is for you to give away. The terms are as such: you can't just give the print to a family member (i.e. your husband, child, mom when she comes over to visit) and you can't just thrust it into the hands of the next person to walk through your door. This print is meant for making a friend, or visiting an old friend, or making an acquaintance into a friendship. This print should make it's way out the front door with you and up the pathway to someone else's front door. Or out of your office cubicle and to another office cubicle, etc... you get the idea. I think it will be fun! I use my paintings all the time as an excuse to knock on other people's doors, because honestly, I'm too awkward to go over without a reason most times, but I really want to be friends with people. So, go to the shop and tell me in a comment which two prints you would like. You can enter twice if you post this somewhere else (twitter, Facebook, your own blog). I will pick a number (randomly, you know, like fancy bloggers do) on Saturday night, so enter your little name before then. woo woo!

I wish you had a squirrel one...but since you don't, I think I would like to enter for the Bear with Donut and the Magpie one.

What a fun giveaway!

Trying to pick and choose any of your art is really, really stressful for me because I truly love it ALL! But if I HAVE to choose, I'd choose the Ranunculas for me, and I know of the perfect person to give the Pink Flamingo to.
Such an awesome idea behind this giveaway... I love it.

Oh this is such a great give away. I am always looking for a way to break the ice with potential friends. So for me I would take the Children's wall art print of a baby elephant simply because my girls would love it.

For my friend to be I would give the Pink Flamingo, I think it is a bright and happy picture. Perfect to give to someone.

A totally rad idea--love it!!!

I'd choose the giraffe for us, and the dino with friend for a new friend!

I would like the blue elephant for me, and also the dino with a friend for a new friend.

such a cute idea! i'm pretty sure the walking giraffe print would brighten anyone's day. the surest way to make a stranger into a friend is with a giraffe, as they say :) and the dc temple print would sure brighten mine.

I am loving this giveaway. New friends make me feel shy, but giving beautiful gifts helps! I'd love to hand someone your Orange Ranunculas print (and hang one in my apartment as well!).

I look at your temple prints every week...love them so much! I don't have a temple on my wall and would love a salt lake city temple, then i would take a Manhattan temple to my old friend who we moved away from and don't get to see often.

I would love the multicolored giraffe for me. Oh boy, how I love giraffes. And I want to give the blue elephant to a new friend in my neighborhood.

What a lovely idea!

I really like the hydrangeas and the lilacs - I couldn't choose which one I like more, so I'm glad I get to mention two! And I love that you are helping us share with our friends!

Sheer awesome.

If I win, can I give both prints away?

I'd give the T-Rex print to a friend I see about once a month. She's had a rough year and I'd love to give her something fun she could give to her son for Christmas.

And the Santa print to share with a new friend this holiday season. (Or let's be honest. I'll have intentions of sharing, but I might keep it for myself.)

Ashley, this is just lovely. If I could make beautiful things like you I would give them to everyone all the time and they'd be happy. I will blog about this giveaway and after I do I'll tell you my two favorites.

Oh my gosh. What a great idea.

I love the peony and baby elephant. Oh and the slc temple. Oh and all of them. But the first two the mostest.

And we just adopted our baby girl. So the elephant for her nursery, and the peony for her birth mom.

I know we're friends on the little-book-club-blog-that-could, but I don't know that we've ever been properly introduced, but my oh my, from the words on this blog, I adore you. What a vibrant soul you are. And, if I may say so, I want to be your friend.

And I would love to win the paintings and make a new friend. Giraffes? Ostrich? Any of them, really.

Only TWO?? But if I must chose, then they will have to be the orange ranunculus and the Provo Tabernacle. So lovely, all of them!

I can honestly say I've never seen anything like your work before. It is so honest, I'd love to get a portrait done of me and my husband.. but if that's not an option the Salt Lake Temple would be amazing to put up in my living room!

I think the yellow peony is the perfect print to make a friend with.

Very cool idea. I would love the boy in the ballon as it reminds me of my son. And i would like to surprise a new friend with the Salt lake temple.
Fingers crossed!

This is such a wonderful way to have a giveaway! I already bought my print from bijou last night..for myself.(: but I would really love to share 2 of your prints with others when we head to Florida.

I grew up in Utah. Not Mormon. (catholic mom, atheist dad) but even so, the Provo tabernacle, and the Salt Lake temple both had significance to me. Now being LDS, these places hold even more value to me. Anyway, i love your prints.

Oh man! I would LOVE to win this giveaway. I think the two I would like to win is the Hydragea Flower and the Orange Ranunculas. And if I don't win I'll probably buy the Orange one. But don't let that influence your decision ;)

The Provo Tabernacle one as I just bought the SLC temple one I have been drooling over for months. And the yellow Peony for my next new friend to be discovered. Thanks Ashely!

Ashley, you blog is so cute. I need to learn how to comment. I just tried but I think I lost it. So if there are two from me, just go ahead and ignore one of them. I would love the peony and the salt lake temple. I miss you.
